Adium question Re: 'Now Playing'

Adium lets you set your status to 'iTunes', which should show the now playing track (just like MSN on windows does).

However, this doesn't show up to my friends who are using MSN. I've added myself as a friend on a different account on a Windows machine, so Windows MSN > Mac Adium, and whatever I do, I can't see the now playing status (or any status, for that matter).

Any ideas? I've tried searching google

After reading up about it, seems the MSN protocol is different from just about all the other's, MSN can't see Adium statuses (this obviously includes the iTunes now playing thing)

Lame.

There is the status that actually alters your MSN name rather than an addition tagline - that works but not the same way as MSN does.

Or is that what you were talking about?
