Adium - "You Have Mail"

anyone know how to turn this feature off? i can't find it in the options and its annoying and rarely correct...

think it was a new thing with the latest update...

Is that through the Growl update in the top right hand corner?

Adium's preferences -> 'Accounts' -> Click and 'Edit' respective account -> 'Options' tab -> Untick 'Check for new email'

i knew i wasn't going crazy... for my msn account (email is at googlemail) the option is there, but the one that its checking is my facebook account (which is a mobileme email address) and the option's tab isn't there!

some sort of oversight?
