Hi.

I've got an Acer 5315 with Integrated video.

Its got 2Gb of system Memory....how do you adjust the amount of allocated system memory to the Integrated video chip?

I appreciate its probably routinely set to 'Auto' etc.. but wanted to try it for playability / stability at its highest allocation to Video, if you see what i mean!

'preciate any help!

its in the bios, as standard i think it uses 256mb ram from your 2gig
but i`d leave as it is, as if you give the video more ram it mean the system has less and that can slow the laptop down
intel Integrated isnt great and adding more system ram (if you can, as i bet 256mb is max) wont really make it better

Checked in the bios.

It says [8Mb] and cannot be adjusted!

The lappy has 2Gig of system RAM.....wonder what/why i cant up the memory assigned to the Graphics chipset? Is it just a poor bios? (its the latest from Acer)
