I have a Enermax 120mm fan on my radiator that has a small adjuster:

But as this adjuster is cmall and ugly, can I connect the 3-pin connector to a fan controller and use that fancontroller to control the fan?

SHOULD be fine, just set the other one to maximum first.

Just keep a eye on it really for first few minutes.

Yeah ok, I will connect the fan to my fancontroller and keep an eye on it, I will check the computer anyway as it's a new system (still without a CPU though at the moment)

Im saying should only as it might be some freaky fan; done it with others just fine.

Just not that particular type. Only slight thing is the fan controller if it reports speed might be slightly off.

No reporting on the fancontroller and I don't care what rpm the fan is running at, I just want the fan as quiet as possible.
