Adjusting application resolution

my girlfriend has a Acer Aspire One that can do 1024x600, but most games do 1024x768, and so far the games she plays (such as lemonade tycoon etc) dont show up properly, such as she's unable to press exit/enter in the game etc.


Is there any way of changing the resolution of the games? i've searched through the .ini and stuff but it doesn't appear to change anything.

What graphics card, if it has one, is it running? You could use something like ATI Tray Tools or the Nvidia equivalent to create 'profiles' for each game and adjust the screen resolution perhaps?

its a acer aspire one, so its an intel GMA 950. the game runs at resolutions of 1024x768/1280x1024 and so forth. it doesnt seem to do below 1024x768. This is where the game doesnt sit right on the netbook.i'll give the intel graphics tool a look into and see if that may work.
