so how can i adjust the voltages on my referrence gtx 680? I've tried precisionX tool but it seems to just go back to the default voltages :S.

My card is a PNY version.

Anybody know of a better program as msi afterburner doesn't seem to support it either.

Jay

I dont think you can use programs to increase the voltages, i believe you have to manually do it on the card, I may be wrong :S
Restriction on the 680 range?

So some of the reviews where it says they upped the voltage to get past the 1200-1250point is all bull then? I read on the guru review that they upped the voltage to get to 1300-1350 core :S im stumped now since you guys have said it cant be upped via software.

you can up the voltage but only by a very small margin (100mv?) which is not enough to enable the 680 to get to it's maximum potential
where as on other cards, e.g. the 7970 it is practically unlocked and you can force the card to run at voltages so high they would fry the card without proper cooling (e.g. water or LN2)

the 680's built in software adjusts the voltage up and down anyway in response to heat or demand so whatever *you* try to set it to it won't stay locked at that unlike other cards

This sucks... this whole turbo boost and locked voltage thing is BS IMO.
It was just a way of Nvidia trying to make it look like their card has more features.

Not a fanboy either, I have a 680 so Im allowed :P hehe

am i the only one hoping for a software update that would somehow enable us to bust this voltage limitation through bios update???
