Adjusting wireless strength

A mate of mine can control the strength of his wireless signal on his router, and I was wondering if i can do it with mine? the model is a Belkin f5d7230-4, and i cant find the option anywhere wehn i log in

Depends on the router, and more importantly what's enabled on the firmware. Typical example my Linksys WRT54G can't adjust the power level with the normal firmware on but with DD-WRT it can. Are you sure he isn't just on about the speed setting though ?
