Hello all

Is there anyway of finding out what my admin password is through windows?

I tried to do a repair this morning because i got the dreaded XP will not start windows system config missing blah blah

I got to the part where you have to type in an admin password and couldnt remember mine :/

:eek: scared now incase i cant boot into windows again

Ah right

So do i just press enter then at the password bit?

It was so long ago that i had to this ive forgot big time
 
use that tool andrew said

i use it all the time fixing client's pc's if they can't remember theirs
 
First of all though G|mp just press enter and try that. This is because on default XP Installation the administration password is blank but locked from windows login screen but NOT the Restore/Repair function out until a new user is created and then is unlocked to log into windows. This is for security measures and a damn good one.
