Kind of related to my WFH thread, I'm thinking of setting up a monthly Quiz with the wider group I work with (Maybe 6 to 8 teams of 4 or 5 people?). I'm thinking each team can enter, erm... a team and we get a little competitive :D

Does anyone have experience taking part or holding online quizzes? I want to keep it as simple as possible. I was thinking to supply each team with a Google Form to submit their answers on and then I would 'present' my screen with questions, music rounds, images etc. I have a couple of things I'm not sure about though -

1) If we're using Google Meet (or Zoom if we really need to) how can people talk amongst their team before answering?
2) How do you deal with people just Googling an answer?

One long way around 1 would be to set each team up in their own voice channel and share them a video (or live broadcast on YouTube or something?) for each round of questions. They fill in the answers as they go. I could be available in an admin video channel for anyone that needed help. One advantage would be the hard work would actually be done in advance. Creating each round could be done at my leisure, and then simply played for them on the day.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
