Back with a Vengeance.
hopefully a passing Don could turn this into a simple yes/no poll.

i was just wondering how many of the members aspire to become a Don/Underboss at some point in the future.
it's a question i couldn't even guess at without actually reading comments from the members themselves but i, and hopefully others, would be interested in the results.

thanks in advance.

Don > MOH :)

lol, i left out MOH because it's not something you can aim for IMHO.
more of an honour rather than a "promotion" if you get my meaning.
anyhoo hopefully we can have a poll and see how the results pan out.
;)

thanks but as usual i wish the relevant Don/UB would actually sign their "work".

i can't exactly say thank you if you don't tell me who you are can i?
anyhoo, thank you and let the games begin.

:p

From experience I don't think there are many people who would say 'no' if asked.

K.
maybe not percentage wise, but then with a list of members as large as "we" have that still amounts to a high number of people.

personally i think that a good section of this community understands these positions require quite a time commitment and they already know whether they have sufficient time to devote.
i have neither the time, inclination or disposition so i strike out on all three counts.

Yeah, that's true. Perceptions do change, hence the "Grumpy Old Men" series on TV (new series due soon, I believe).
IMHO it's an absolute sham that the above series isn't longer and on prime time.
compulsive viewing at it's funniest as far as i'm concerned.

He speaketh the truth. Some of us are indeed meet whores, but not all.
who are these Meat Whores and what are the relevant addresses of these cheeky little minxes? :p

I agree it's superb, but part of the reason (IMHO) is that it's one of those things that, while based on truth, looses it's comedy value if overdone. Little and often does the trick. :)
in hindsight that's probably a fair assessment.
i still feel prime time on a prime channel would be a better place for it though (it still has it's home on BBC2 right?)
