I have ventured over from my usual hidey-hole of GD to see if any of the 'brains department' can help with an issue I have regarding acrobat reader 8.
Everytime I want to either run acrobat or view a pdf (from file or from internet) I face the following error message after about 5/10 seconds or so:
Following this message the document either closes or becomes unreadable and so it has to be opened again... which inevitably results in a repeat of the above.
(and as you could have guessed - running another adobe application such as photoshop- changes nothing
)
You can imagine how infuriating this is when so many documents online are in .pdf format. I don't recall any major changes to my system of recent or anything I know of that might have had such effect.
Any ideas chaps & dolls of the software land?
