We want to provide PDF printeing on our server for people to use when the remote dsktop in.

Now I know that adobe acrobat V7 standard will do what we need but will it install on 2003 server ?

The reason I ask is that I recently tried to use a copy of Drive Image on the server and it said that it would only run on client OSes not server OSes.

Cheers !

We had an issue where it would only run when an admin level account was logged on (console I think) also found it was very hit and miss if it would print to pdf. (was a 2003 TS)

To be fair I'm not sure what version it was, could have been 6.

Otacon - if you have one that you would recommend for installation on a server (reliability is obviously key here) then that would be fab....

Do a search for 'citrix print pdf', or '"terminal services" pdf print'

the first result is one many people use, but isn't for everyone.

Depending on how many people you want to do it, and how loaded your server is, you may just install ghostscript for a PS printer and get distiller to monitor the directory they print the PS file to convert the files for them.

We are looking at implementing PDF creation printing for a few people here at work now.

It seems that no matter the installation, there are always a few niggles you will come up against,

Pax
