Hello all i'm just having a play with Rotobrush in Adobe After Effects but i'm having a problem where it's only showing a few seconds of the video having the part cut out and then it go's back to item with it's background

I need it to cut out my avatar from the whole 12min video

..then you need to roto the whole 12 mins... roto brush just helps you not have to mask out every frame by making a calculation of the last roto selection, but you still need to go through it frame by frame to check.. and that's a whole lot of frames for 12 mins...

Can you use Key light to Key the avatar out of the background.. try it.. may be far simpler.. since the avatar is on a green background, it could help you out.. roto 12 mins.. is not even worth thinking about.. its generally used for small sections where a green screen couldn't be used...

Cheers for the info, worked out in the end that theres a small bar just below the timeline which you have to drag out which then renders the whole clip

PS so true about not being worth it as did a test of a 1min clip which took over an hour

Have to say Ultra in adobe premiere isn't to bad to do a quick removal but can be a bit hit and miss if background isn't one colour

Little test below
