Try to help out a friend with his laptop.
His just upgraded to windows 10, having done a clean install.
The first issues hes got is some old applications he wants to run wont work with out .net 3.5. Expect I cant get .net 3.5 to install.
I've tried this way and adding the windows feature found in windows 10's add remove, both with no luck.
The second issue is with Adobe air. Downloading the .exe form the Acrobat website, the installer fails.
The logs say it is missing some runtime environment. I tried setting the compatibility to win 7 or 8 which makes the installer work, but then Air is not found in add/remove programs.
There is a current thread on the Acrobat forums for this issue and some people suggest disabling your antivirus to no success.
So I'm stuck.

I've also tried running the exe's as admin.

Hmm he's running 32bit windows 10.
