Adobe AIR & Flex - Just how good is this?

Hey Guys,

AIR & Flex was mentioned on MacRumors the other day, didnt read into it much, but when bored I re-read it and looked into!

It enables you to have small desktop programs (osx too) for certain companies like ebay and finetune!

Just installed AIR and grabbed the ebay application and finetune app, they both really good!

I would certainly look into it!

I get rather high memory usage from snitter but meh its free!!

It's pretty much an AJAX-ified website in an app so instead of having to write any real code you just make an AIR app. There was nothing preventing eBay from having a desktop application before other than laziness.

AIR is nothing to write home about.
