How often do you go through the cancellation steps, to have a look at the cancellation offers? I have the £9.99 Photography Plan and it usually offers me 2 months free every so often.

Never….never cancelled.

I am also not on the monthly plan, i buy it bulk 12 months at a time for about £70.

Yea I think it only applies to the monthly subscription.

You don't actually cancel, there's an offer page on step 3 of the cancel process which you can get access to with a few clicks.

what are you going with instead?

Lightroom CC on iPad. Free, and good enough for a casual like me. The only thing I miss is the ability to duplicate photos, but that's it. I've edited photos on it (12.9") exclusively for the past two months, and really enjoyed it. So much so, with the new iPadOS (which I'm downloading right now) and the ability to plug in external drives and with the introduction of a file system, I sold my MacBook Pro.

nice! How are you backing up photos?

Just normal manual back up - plug in to iMac. I did begin syncing to Adobe Cloud but I stopped that as I'm not too bothered. I've never been let down by an iPhone or iPad in over 10 years. It is very rare that I'll go back and want to revisit a raw file 2 years down the line.

Hopefully Adobe will be able to work from cloud based catalogues and files in the future. I doubt that it is too far off.
