Adobe crashes and hanging browser.

I seem to randomly get adobe flash player crashes that knock out all browser tabs flash content (eg iplayer tabs/youtube) and cause my browser to hang for anything up to 5 minutes before something resets/crash prcess finishes and I can switch between and refresh the tabs.

I am the kind of person to have 20+ tabs per browser window open so this gets quite infuriating when I am forced to stop whatever I was up to and wait.
Does anyone else suffer from this and is there a fix of any kind, a quick google search only threw up old threads from a few years ago.
 
I have had this for ages, different computers, different windows installs. It's with firefox, flash plugin seems to do firefox in quite a lot. It's normal for me for Firefox to crash as many as 10 times a day, if not more.
 
Past few days I've been having the same problem. I updated flash which solved the problem for a day or so and then started to happen all over again.

It's a right pain.
 
It does seem ubiquitous, I recently updated flash too and it seems to have gone up in frequency, its driving me nuts. I have had the same problem in IE, but no where near as often.
 
Well they must have been trying for a very long time because its been occuring for a good year. It is just the frequency of it occuring that has gone up lately. Ill give the version a go and see if it returns to normal levels.
