Adobe Elements 10

I am wanting to purchase some editing software that is a step up from the Nikon view NX that I have been using for a while now.

I know that say CS5 has it all so to speak but the price is too much for me.
Lightroom 4 seems a good price too but Elements 10 is also a good price.
Please bear in mind I am no pro and just want something that works reasonably well.

So what you recommend please.

Having used a bit of both (more so Elements 10), I'd personally go with Lightroom as it just seems quicker and easier to do things.
