Wait, does that mean adobe have finally given people a way to clear flash cookies without resorting to ccleaner/browser addons?

Yup:

Integration with browser privacy controls for managing local storage – Users now have a simpler way to clear local storage from the browser settings interface – similar to how users clear their browser cookies today. Flash Player 10.3 integrates control of local storage with the browser’s privacy settings in Mozilla Firefox 4, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 and higher, and future releases of Apple Safari and Google Chrome.

But it's not there in IE, from the release notes:

Note 1: The integration with Internet Explorer browser’s privacy controls is not yet available in the first beta release. It will be enabled in the next beta update.

Also coming with Flash Player 11 will be 64-bit support, an update that follows the release of several 64-bit browsers--notably Apple's Safari.

There are talking that Flash 11 being 64 bit, so I would say that flash 10.3 beta is 32bit.

You know it just occurred to me that this isn't adobe being nice, flash cookies will fall under the same legislation that's forcing website cookie tracking to opt in. It's just adobe getting ready in the same way ff added "tell website I do not want to be tracked" option.

As much as I dislike Apple, I applaud them for trying to wipe out flash. Adobe should really try to get a proper regularly updated 64bit version going as it just makes them appear lazy and proves Apples point. It comes across as if they have a one man programmer team trying to do all the mobile versions and desktop versions.

This is a thread about browsers, where have Apple tried to wipe out Flash in the browser market? they certainly have not.

iPhones are a different topic, not for this topic anyway.
