Adobe PDF Quickly Opening and Closing

Hello,

Im trying to find a solution to this problem. When a user clicks on a link which is a PDF File in a Web Browser, Adobe Reader opens and then instantly closes (Flashes up and dissapears!). This was a known issue which someone had with their machine and i was able to fix it but now several months later i can't remember the solution. I think its some setting where PDF files either open in browser or open seperately with the application.

I'm sure someone on here knows and can remember the solution? If so, could you tell me?

Have you Googled "adobe reader opens closes quickly" I got loads of results dependent on the version of the reader.

I think its some setting where PDF files either open in browser or open seperately with the application.

Well in v8 it's under Edit|Preferences|Internet|Display PDF in browser
