Adobe Photoshop "CS3"

Here some point today (Friday 15th December 2006) there will be a 48 hour beta for users with legit copies of Photoshop.

I know some forum members will know about this from other forums but here is the official heads up for anyone interesting in taking advantage.

oo make sure some people get comparisons between windows and mac if possible.
Need to make a mac upgrade in January will be worth it for CS3!
That is without spending all the money on 8GB RAM

From what ive read its a 48hour beta for people who DONT have a legit copy of CS2, for CS2 owners you get a licensed beta that works until CS3 is released Spring 2007.

Thanks for the link cyKey, downloading it now and have my CS3 license number.

Looks like it's still got ACR in it. You think they will incorporate RSP one day?

They have. ACR now has the fill light and vibrance feature from RSP.

seems to run slower on my mac, not tried the pc yet!
Will it run faster on an intel based mac than a old g4?

Using the horsey benchmark, ive found it to be about 20% faster on an IntelMac than CS2 was Results here
