Adobe photoshop help

Hi all,

My younger brother is starting to mess around with graphics at school and they use have Adobe Photoshop CS2 on them. However this is in his free time and none of the teachers now much about it.

So i was wondering, what guides are there online for this?

He needs something that starts with the very basics and then moves towards the advanced stuff.

best way would be to get it at home and just have a play with it, working through every menu and tool methodically, working out what it does, having a play, just experimenting. iv always been of the opinion that learning PS from books and tutorial sites will just give you a very limited "understanding" of photoshop, and you will find yourself using the same filters, actions and techniques over and over again, because thats what the book/tutorial told you, and your work will be very similar to everyone else out there who is also reading the same books and using the same tutorials.

If you learn what every tool does, and how it does it, there will be nothing you cant produce, and you will have a much greater understanding of PS.
