Adobe Photoshop Question.

Hey im looking to sell Adobe photoshop cs4 Extended still sealed on ebay which i won in a competition . And im getting questions were people are asking for the P/N number on the bottom. I am a little hesitant as i am not sure if these are unique and i don't want people registering using this number.

So my questions are :

1 ) Is the P/N on the bottom of the box unique to every copy of photoshop?
2 ) Why would they be asking for this? is there a way to search this on adobe or are they trying to scam me.

P/N would suggest the product number or part number to me. As long as you don't disclose the actual licence key then you'll be fine.

I see no reason to give out any numbers from original packaging to someone over Ebay.

Tell them it is still sealed and that it is all they need to know.

Anything written on the outside of the packaging is safe to disclose. The reason people are asking is so they can check what sort of license it is and whether they can upgrade it to CS5.
