HI all,

dipping my feet with Premier Pro CC and looking for some tips on the below. I have a small segment of video that has a high sunlight exposure in one comer, I was hoping I could reduce this specific area so its not as bright, and you would then be able to see the seal swimming a little more clearly.

Any links to guide etc would be a great help folks, am sure theirs someone that has the knowledge :)

Can we get a look at the histogram? You'll get a better idea of what recovery can be done then. As DP says though, from the screenshot it looks like you're borked.

I have no clue on how to do that :D

Maybe add an adjustment layer to V2 (so you don't touch any of the source footage), then add the 3 way color corrector and see if you can sample the highlights to tone them down a bit.

You could also increase the Tonal Range to capture more of the highlights/midtones as by default they're a bit narrow.

Will give this a bash and see what I can muster. Any adjustments made so far are on the entire screen not just the one area

Thanks all so far
