I am trying to render out a 5 minute video edited together, I have the source files on one SATA 6gb drive and outputting to another. The video is 1080p with audio, not many effects have been added, just subtitles and a a few fade in/fade out. Video is from multiple files.

For some reason when I try to output as full HD in .wmv format with audio at its original stats but edited it cause Premiere to crash.

My computer is as in my signature, just curious if anyone might be able to give me some hints if my computer is holding me back or if there may be some settings that need tweaking?

:)

I can't really help with this one but I have loads of problems with Premiere (old CS4) and am on the point of giving up with it and getting something else. Just yesterday I was trying to convert some edited down ITV programmes to MP4, the first one worked OK but the second and third had zero file-size and I've absolutely no idea why, because the coversion went through with no errors.

4 hours of rendering for nothing (literally).

Fixed it myself after a few goes, needed to render out the audio and video seperately, then bring the final versions back in to Premiere to throw them together, also had to reduce down the settings.
