I've never used two cameras to record something at the same time from different perspectives, so how does editing two different cameras work in Adobe Premiere? Do I drag them onto the timeline on top of each other and then choose which one I want to view at a specific time frame?

Also, would you use the audio from one source only or switch the sound between the different cameras? For reference, I'll have a GoPro Hero 7 Black on my forehead and a DJI Osmo Pocket in my hand filming my face. I'll be recording in 4k 60fps on both cameras.

As you have no time code you will need to sync the clips first. PP does have a multicam feature but its trash and for learning how to edit multi cam properly it's not advised.

So yes...drag clips on to timeline making sure they are all synced. As I'm sure it's going to be small clips that can take some time. Once that has happened I would just razor around Video 2 clips where you want Video 1 clips to show.

Use the audio from the best device..though in your case both are going to have terrible sound. Put a compressor on the audio track to help with that.

You will also probably want to put a backing track to mask some the audio - you can search SoundCloud for artists that are happy with their songs in YouTube videos.
