Adobe Premiere Pro 2 [Need help]

Does anybody have adobe premiere pro 2 which is willing to help me?

Im trying to import a video into like my timeline but when i do the program crashes. It doesnt if the file size of the clip im trying to import isnt so big.

Any ideas?

What format is the video that you are trying to import?

Have you tried installing the latest wmv codecs, failing that you could always import it into virtual dub and render it uncompressed.

Try opening the clip in VLC player to see if it is corrupt or not.
