Been trying to debug some issues that a friend is experiencing with Premiere pro CC on a laptop, but the obvious fixes do not appear to be working for them.
Basically the program (often) freezes and refuses to respond when they try to open up a movie project.
They've tried full uninstall and reinstalls of the program, and dragging projects into the program manually, and the license is up to date.
What is curious is that it worked at one point, but they can't pinpoint exactly when it started to misbehave.
Defragmentation is scheduled to occur once a week automatically.
I'm curious if the ram in the laptop has gone bad or something. I'm told it's packing 32gb of the stuff (which seems tremendously high for a laptop), but I thought I'd try and bounce this issue off some people who may be more experienced with Adobe products than myself.
