Adobe suspends Flash development for mobile devices (IOS related so goes here, right?)

As above. Adobe have announced that they will halt developments to bring flash onto mobile and tablet devices, and instead concentrate on helping developers to use Adobe AIR to convert it into HTML 5.

+1 to team fruit i guess.

AIR doesnt convert things to HTML5. It converts them to native apps.

It was/is pretty clear flash just couldn't cut it on devices, the HP Touchpad has flash support but it was barely useable, better without it to be honest.

HTML5 is where it's at my friends!

The importance of Flash on mobile devices was always massively overstated imo and driven in part by anti-Apple sentiment.
