How does this man get a job at the Daily Mail? I mean I know I am a Spurs fan but this article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...llas-Boas-wrong-criticise-Tottenham-fans.html

Is just been sensationalist for the sake of it. This article in particular I though was utter trash.

Nope. I don't really like him either. Just about every talksport pundit is the radio equivalent of a Sun sports journalist.

I can't stand him, but I agree with most of what he says in the first article about AVB.

Then he starts rambling towards the end and talking nonsense, especially about Joe Hart.

He holds the opposite opinion of the majority so he can get people listening to Talksport, clicking his column, reading his book.

Once you realise this it's easier to listen to him, some of the arguments he has with the 'thick as pig ****' Gough are funny.

He had a right go at the female tennis Woman (the one that did well at Wimbledon) He basically crucified her on National radio for being a bottler and that she'll never be good enough. It's all to get people ringing in to argue with him. When he comes up against someone with a decent vocabulary, he get's slaughtered.

Bingo. My thoughts exactly. Unfortunately I don't find it any easier to listen to him despite knowing what his game is, so I usually don't.

It's amazing the amount of people who kiss the obvious and get sucked in. He's a shock jock, that's his role and he certainly got the OP sucked in.

I don't mind TS but I tend not to like Durham, as above I know his game but tend to find it a little tiresome. Mainly enjoy H+J and I'm actually shocked that Muuray has been relatively decent against all my expectations otherwise.

He did have a point there though IMO.

Lisicki knocked out two of the tournament favourites and then played like a mug in the final. Bartoli quickly retired when she realised she had been lucky (to have an easy run & final) and would probably never win anything again.

As for AVB he should have just kept his mouth shut, the fans will be on his back as soon as they get the opportunity now and that's likely to have a more detrimental effect on the team.

Anyways basically you seriously just have to take this guy with a pinch of salt, he just says controversial things to stir up debate and get people ringing in, I'm convinced half the time he doesn't even believe the nonsense he spouts but it is just a case of playing devil's advocate.

I don't listen to him any more as it has got very old and tiresome. I don't have a problem with him per se but after 10 years he needs to reinvent himself.

Agreed H&J and Mureay are excellent shows, I've been on Colin Murray a couple of times
