WOW! Very impressive service!

Received my renewal through from Bell a few days ago, with a slightly higher price than I paid last year. They wanted £832 to renew, that being £30 dearer than last year (10 month policy).

The policy included breakdown cover, DOC and all the normal legal expenses cover etc.

Just got off the phone with a guy at Adrian Flux...

12 month policy, all mods declared, breakdown cover, DOC.

They absolutely smashed the price from Bell, coming in at £742! Absolutely amazing! They also cover parts like for like, whereas Bell will only replace with standard items.

Very impressed

Been with Flux for years, have both my cars insured through them with mods declared. I made a claim a few years ago and whilst my premium went up slighty it was not excessive and the level of service was ok too.

I'll be on the blower to them when I get in from work tonight for my renewal.

Got my renewal from Admiral of £1078 - which is a £700 drop from last year! :D

Got an 'estimate' via email of £725 from Adrian Flux with my mods declared and covered like for like so will be giving them a ring to sort it out tonight, as long as it doesn't end up more than Admiral want (highly unlikely from their estimate) I'm going with Flux :)

Got to sort my insurance out this week, not looking forward to it.

Most quotes are £1400 all in before they slap on silly APR for monthly. Blackburn Postcodes (despite living 5 miles away from Blackburn) absolutely suck. 3 years NCD and 24 years old and nothing to declare. Sucks to be me when insurance is involved.

They have a pretty poor reputation and quoted me £400 more than I could get from most of the mainstream insurance companies.

I went with Bell who were one of the cheapest as they could provide DOC at a decent price at the time.

Quoting you a sharp price isn't service.

Helping you get your money after an accident by administering your claim promptly and efficiently is service.

Sending accurate documentation out in time is service.

Answering the phone quickly and returning calls as promised is service.

/sermon over.

Yes but you only deal with fleets, so we can't use you. :p

Dup if you want to pay monthly maybe get a bank loan over the year and pay it off using that?

Banks don't like me either at the moment. Not defaulted on anything but there we go.

I can put up £900 off so im not too fussed. Might clear my CCard with the 900 then pay for the insurance outright on that then pay it off in bigger chunks over 3/4 months then I have some overhead for the rest of the term, which will be much needed!

I get great quotes/prices from Flux, Cost me 119 quid for a years Insurance in my Vitara & less than 200 quid for the Camper. I don't care what they are like with claims as I don't make them.

Flux are cheap.

You get what you pay for. Hopefully you won't have to claim.

Adrian Flux were my insurers when I had my really bad accident 6 years ago, the service they gave couldn't have been better - they worked through the claim with my Mrs from day one, through the court case and out the other side. No hassles, minimal paperwork, dealt with all the claims against me and paid out the full value of my written off car.

Their service was second to none and as a result my wife has insured her car with them for the last 5 years and will continue to do so.

I got mine insured with them too. They might not have all the fancy looking paperwork like the big brands do but they do the job.

Flux don't underwrite their policies, so not sure why people say they have crap service when it comes to claiming.

Flux were some £600 cheaper than the nearest quote for me, last November.

To add to this, Flux emailed me the modified vehicle/mileage decleration/agreed value forms so I was able to fill these in and return them along with photographs by email. This made the whole process a lot easier for me, in my eyes anyway.

Flux didnt send me a renewal through last year when I was with them. Unfortunately for me I got pulled 3 days after my insurance had expired (I had no idea it was due, completely slipped my mind) and was awarded 6 points and £300+ in fines and fee's!

Rang them up and asked what was going on. Thay had apparently sent a letter a month earlier querying my address (which i didnt recieve), and because I never sent a response to the letter they never sent a renewal!

They seem to know my address when they sent out my policy info/direct debit stuff/certificate at the beginning of the year!

Now im not pinning all the blame on AF. I should have been more aware of when my policy expired. And they're not obliged to sent a renewal.

But these are basic things I expect to recieve when I take a policy! ^^That is **** service.

And just to rub salt in the wounds, they still quoted me the cheapest when I had 6 fresh points on my licence. Told them to do one and went with Sky.

Had to stop you there and ask, dearer? Didnt think that anyone below the age of 90 used that word any more.

Sorry, just read really weirdly :D
