ADSL filter faceplate V BT I-plate

Just fitted one of these myself an XTE2005 and it does the job of an I plate and i better in most case's. Just depends on weather you are comfortable changing a couple of wire's over . If not get an I-plate.

It does not do the job of an iplate. The iplate is simply a ring-wire bypass, a filtered faceplate is the most efficient way to filter the broadband signal because is reduces the number of connections and length of unfiltered (unshielded) cabling.

The XTE2005 is popular because it, unlike most others, allows you to wire extensions phone & adsl separately meaning you don't need filters on every other socket in the house. N.B. you'll need a 50p KROHN tool too wire extensions :p
