A really quick question;

I have moved house and my broadband has moved with me, currently the line is syncing at 8mb but the profile is a 2mb, I know training can be up to 10days. Whats the best way to get it up quickly? I usually leave my router on all the time, but I'm sure I've read its good practice to switch it off every night during the training period?

Any advice?

DO THIS AFTER YOUR TRAINING PERIOD:
If your router is supported by DMT, then open that up and put the Target SNR as high as it will go, sync at that, then put it back to normal. This is a manual way to unstick your IP Profile.

Note: don't do this in your training period or your profile will go even lower, then you won't be able to use the method above.

Note 2: If your getting 8mb I suggest you get on Be or O2 (or some other ADSL2+ LLU provider).

I could have sworn I read somewhere it was a good idea to turn the router off every night for the first 10 days to get the profile up? Am I ok to just leave it on all the time even in training? Will my profile actually update if my router doesnt resync?
