ADSL question from a n00b.

I've just moved into a new place with my girlfriend and we now need the internet. We're going to go with Be on there 24meg unlimited package. Now my only problem is that on the house phones we can hear what appears to be football commentary. So I’m guessing its picking up interference from somewhere. Is this likely to affect speeds much?

Yes. If you are still hearing that on the test socket behind the master then you need to give BT a call and report a voice fault.
