Hi, my old Conexant ADSL router/modem has finally croaked and I need to get a replacement quite quickly, hence I'm looking for some advice.
The main thing I want to know is what should I look for to make sure the modem side of things is compatable with future ADSL developments. The reason I say this is the old Conexant thing could never run at more than 2mb/s even though my line will go to 8mb/s. I'd like to avoid something similar in the future.
I guess the second thing I'd like to know is the current favourite router/modem that does NAT and possibly, though not critically, has a firewall. Any suggestions? Thanks!
