ADSL Router Must Be Connected To Master Socket?

Hey,

Simply as it says in the title. I hae two phone sockets in my flat and the master is in the wrong room for my pc. My internet has not been enabled yet but am I able to connect my router off the slave socket and have it run fine or do I need to put it on the master socket?

If your extension wiring's decent, you won't see any difference.
