ADSL router with best wireless coverage

Hi all,

I currently have Netgear DNG2000, which is a great router, but does not fit my wireless coverage requirements. I live in a large brick walls house, and DNG2000 cannot even cover one floor, letting alone two.

Ideally, I wouldn't want any repeaters or anything like that - I would prefer a single powerful router with best possible wireless coverage.

I have been looking at:
1. Netgear DGND3700
2. Linksys X3000
3. Billion 740

Would any of these (or maybe any other ones) offer a better wireless coverage compared to my DNG2000?

shame the openwrt et al don't support adsl routers as some of hardware you can crank up the power higher (possibly illegally) than the stock firmware.

So, any ideas if there is anything with wider range than DNG2000?
