Hi, I'm looking for a basic ADSL Max Modem Router for a friend, who's Netgear has died. It doesn't have to have wireless N or a million tweakable options - I just want a wireless router with a built in modem that doesn't need to be reset several times a week.

How technical it is won't be an issue, as I'll be setting it up myself.

Any ideas from the OcUK crowd please?

I recommend the TP-link TD-W8960N it's cheap about £40 has Wifi N and is very reliable, it use's a broadcom chipset too. And if you change to cable broadband it can be used with that too by enabling the V-lan option.

Can't go wrong imo, I speak from experience.

Do you have a V3 (revision should be on label on bottom)?
