ADSL2 modem/router with best wireless range

Hi guys,

I currently have a Sagem F@st 2504n ADSL modem/router on Sky that is starting to overheat and give me all sorts of problems so i'm looking to replace it. I have a PC running in a building at the end of my garden which just about gets a wireless signal but it's really slow, and homeplugs only give me a couple of meg as they have to go through 2 consumer units.

Can anyone recommend an ADSL2 modem router with the best wireless range and gigabit ethernet ports?

Hi Jon,

If you want to break the bank have a look at the 802.11ac ones. They have beamforming tech that increases the signal to connected points.

I haven't used one so wouldn't know which one is best. Still very early days.
