Is there such a thing and does it work well ?

I want a wireless adsl2 router (I have Be Unlimited ISP) that has a USB2 port for sharing my MyBook external drive. I will use it for storing my iTunes library, downloads, and backing up my MacBook, so outright speed is not that important. The closest thing I am aware of is the Airport Extreme and that would be great, since it looks nice and I am using a MacBook and all, but it has no modem. Anyone ?

cheers :)

dont think such a thing exists

because it already exists in network attached storage devices like the Synology Diskstation and Qnap Turbostation etc..

best thing i can recommend, is chop the hard disk out of the WD mybook, and stick it in a nas. Job done.

Linksys make a couple of routers that do this like the Linksys WRT350N, but you'll need a separate modem since they don't have them built in. However I've heard that the network storage links are rather flakey and tend to hang with large files.
