hi guys, im switching to adslmax soon, what I need to know is what i can do to make sure I get an 8mb connection, I live 490 meters from the exchange.

I was thinking, plugging my filter in to the test/diag socket, Getting the shortest rj11 i can find... and thats about it.


Can you think of anything else I could possibly do to make sure the line is good on my end?

I think they lie tbh.

I havent done anything I suggested in the first post yet, I just dont see how i can have a snr of 0 on upstream. I've been told its probably a router firmware bug or something.

Quite probably, though if it's reporting that to the DSLAM, it might cause a problem.
