Does anybody have any knowledge and/or receive the ALG?
I'm having major problems with it. I applied at the beginning of August and after not hearing anything back by the end of August I called them and they said to leave it a week. I left it a week and then called them again, they then blammed it on the postal strike and said send another application.
I have completed and sent another application, which is not as easy as it sounds with what information they ask for and require. P60, payslips etc.
I sent this one recorded and it was receieved at the start of September as I used track and trace.
In the mean time I have not receiveed anything back about the first application but somebody from ALG did ring me regarding the second one and told me further information is required to assess me.
They didn't know anything about the first application and told me to ignore it when I receieve it back as it has been processed incorrectly.
Anyway, I have been waiting for the second application and the advisor told me that it should be here by the start of this week, but again I've had nothing through the post today.
I have made around the 20th phone call to them today since applying and they have just told me to wait another week. I requested to speak to a Manager and they advised that they are busy and couldn't help me! To which I gave up hope and put the phone down.
Any ideas to help me get anywhere with this?
