Advance wars type game for the PC ?

Hi,

Have lent my brother my new DS Lite and he is really liking Advance wars

And was wondering if there is a similar type game for the PC ?

Yes is the quick answer to your question but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the games.

There were several games made aaaagggeessss ago (talking 486 times) that were the first types of battle games like Advance Wars. You could build vehicles and men and move them round a hexagonal grid. Fights would play out in cutscenes exactly like Advance Wars on Nintendo.
