Advanced Driver Training/Test

Hey

A few months ago someone on these forums mentioned they had done an advanced driving course/test. I would be quite interested in doing this if it lowered my insurance, I have used google but I havent been able to find anything "good" - BSM seem to have their own scheme but id rather do a DVLA recognised one (if there is such a thing!)

Any info would be a great help

I've done it and am now a member of the IAM.

Don't do it for the insurance discount, it's hardly worth bothering with. Do it to increase your standard of driving and observation skills - now that IS worth doing
