Advantage of iMON Ultra over iMON VFD

Im looking at getting one of these Soundgraph iMON's, just wondering what the advantage of the Ultra is over the VFD because to me, they look the same, except the Ultra takes up more space?

So which is the better? Or is there another similar product, in black, which is better?
