Are there any advantages of a quad core over a dual core?


Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.67GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

vs

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "LGA775 Kentsfield" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

should i just stick to the 1st one?
