Hi I have the following motherboard Tri Gem Dublin in my Advent 3207 computer I am planning putting in a upgraded gfx card as it only has a 64mb card in at the moment, whats the possibly of using a 256mb card nvidia in the AGP slot would there be a issue with the 8x or ddr ram as the motherboard only has single data ram in it?
Thanks for any comments

My dad has that mobo in his Emachines though his only has a 4x slot I think.

Plus if you find a new graphics card you will probaiblly need a new PSU as it will have something silly like a 150W in it.

Just buy a new PC really.

yeah I no its not great but I got it for cheap and want to get the best out of it I thought 8x was backward compatible? what do you mean by psu? Was thinking of getting this 1 nVidia GeForce 6200 8xAGP 256MB Graphics Video Card will it work on this motherboard or there is this 1 which would the forum helpers suggest XFX GF 6200A 256MB DDR2 AGP DVI TVO RETAIL

The XFX card should be fine seeing as it runs at 4x/8x AGP and your Dublin motherboard has a 2x/4x AGP slot. Hope this helps!
