Advent 7000A - Black screen when graphics drivers installed?

Got given an Advent 7000A, all working fine, but when I install the graphics (SiS 661) it just goes to a black screen upon reboot - it does actually go into Windows and makes the start up chime, everything. Just the screen stays black!

I have tried Fn + F3 for external display cycling, still nothing.

Any ideas?
