You do know it has a long strap on the inside that when fastened together, stops this from happening? :p
 
I'm in two minds whether to buy that Vega case, is it worth £30?

I see they offer it for £20 when bought with the Vega but they had none in stock, might try and wangle one for £20 on that basis!

No, you will need to install the market your self via an apk file - just download the file on your pc, whack it over and run it

Was all set for getting a vega but now with the ipad price drop its put some doubt in my mind. Not sure which way to go right now.

If you install the Mod do you still have restrictions on what you can install via the market place?

Does the vega allow you to plug in a usb dongle for 3G if you need it?

If you can't use Flash then I'm not interested in an IPAD. That would be a major restriction for me.

If you mod you have more options.

there is a usb accessory that let this use the 3g network? if there is, i might get this over the ipad 2
 
i actually went along and tested one of these....it wasnt to good....sluggish not responsive at all...decided against it...unless its was a faulty one i was trying .
 
Nor is mine. Only annoyance is the occasionally uncooperative touch sensor which can be quite inaccurate. Most of the time it's excellent though.

The default Advent setup on the Vega is rubbish, I held off buying one when they first came out because I tried a mates the day he got it and thought the desktop looked ugly/dated etc..

But after reading on Modaco and seeing people's desktops, I took the plunge, and got one, with the Modaco rom, Launcher pro, and some pixel perfect home made backdrops, the tablet was transformed, exceedingly fast, responsive, and launcher pro (And ADW will do the same) allowed me to build a really good set of desktop screens..

Sadly mine went back due to the touchscreen totally packing in, and I've been holding off buying another as all these new tablets have been trickling out, but it does seem that they are all premium priced, so I might just have to get another Vega, when it gets Honeycomb it'll be blinding value for money at £240..
 
I've had it about 4 weeks now and its everything i hoped for plus more, I'm sitting in bed typing this.
Has a lyrics aid on stage it is superb and 3 fellow musos were all over it at fridays gig.
I've also got guitar partner installed so we can read guitar pro tabs when we need to check the correct notes at rehearsals.
The only thing i dislike is the viewing angle because there isn't a lot of tolerance but i don't know what other tablets are like.
 
Am I the only person running r8 but experiencing constant bricking? I'm having to reflash the original version or r8 almost weekly.

Can't figure out why though!

I have had mine for 2 weeks now, flashed to R8 within an hour of buying it and have had no problems at all. I have used it for about 3/4 hours this weekend as I went on a weekend break and I was using it on the free hotel wifi. I was very impressed with it.
