advent verona netbook

hey everyone.

ive been looking for a net book for my girlfriends birthday and I've seen one at the big purple place. Its an advent verona for £349.99. I would post specs up but im at work on my phone lol.

can't seem to find much about them online, spec wise they look pretty reasonable. she's just mainly going to use it for studies, Facebook and internet and maybe some very light gaming. she doesn't want anything massive which is why im looking at netbooks.

any advice and opinions appreciated! cheers

i have one, keyboard feels not good. battery is bad as well, max is around 2 hours. not that heavy. good things is 13.3" LED makes it bright and sharp.

Without being patronising can't see how you can't seem to find much info on it since I found 5 reviews on first page of google search. Don't seem that positive so may consider some other alternatives that Asus have to offer in that market.

advent made a verona then a verona su model which is the one Im looking at. I found plenty of reviews on the old model but not on the su.

apparently the su has an improved keyboard and the battery is slighty better. What asus netbooks do you suggest?

Avoid advent, go for a better brand

Just liked the verona su seeing as it has a dual core processor and 2gb of RAM which i cant find in any other netbook for anywhere near the money.

Im not really down with all this minature technology. Only just heard of the Intel atom
